IDCube Admin Suite is a Microsoft .NET application that has been developed by
IDLink Systems to manage multiple biometric devices such as palm vein, fingerprint and facial.
The objective of the IDCUBE is to offer a single and user friendly application and common data
storage for the various biometric templates and enrollment functionalities.
IDCUBE uses Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (or Express version) for managing the data storage and
Web services for managing the biometric devices as well as generating reports. IDCUBE can be used for
physical access control security, time attendance, visitor management and is also capable of
interfacing with third party applications through its Web layer services.
Software modules
IDCUBE software architecture is divided into 3 modules as described & shown below.
IDCUBE Desktop - This is an enrolment and user-setup Windows Desktop program, used during the enrolment
phase to capture user information, including his biometrics templates and store them on a Central Data Store.
IDCUBE Web Admin - This is a Web Based ASP.NET application that handles the transfer of biometrics templates
to remote units, collates transaction information, generates export files and reports, etc.
IDCUBE Remote - This is the IDLINK remote Palm Secure Unit controller software that handles the actual user
interaction with the Palm Secure Sensor.
